Boulders Announce "Beers Around the Bases" Festival

(POMONA, N.Y.) - The Rockland Boulders will be hosting their fourth annual "Beers Around the Bases" Craft Beer Festival on Saturday, May 14, from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Provident Bank Park. Fans will be able to enjoy unlimited tastings of more than 20 craft beers, as well as live music and entertainment, throughout the event.

Cost of admission is $35 prior to the event and $40 on the day of. Special "Designated Driver" tickets will also be available in advance for $20 and $25 on the day of. "With the help of Dana Distributors last spring we hosted the largest crowd in the history for our craft beer festival with upwards of 1,000 guests enjoying the event," said Ken Lehner, Rockland Boulders Team President. "We anticipate a larger gathering this May as we will be once again serving our limited edition, but ever popular, craft Boulders beers dubbed Bottom 9 Beer and 2nd Base Blonde, while also introducing an IPA for the first time."

Those who buy a ticket to the event will also receive a complimentary General Admission ticket to enjoy that evening's exhibition game between the Rockland Boulders and the NYPD Baseball team, beginning at 6:30 p..m., with a Fireworks Extravaganza following the game. Boulders 2016 Season Ticket Holders will receive two complimentary vouchers to the festival, which must be redeemed on the day of the event.

Don't forget, Opening Day is Thursday, May 19, when the Boulders take on the Sussex County Miners at 7 p.m. at Provident Bank Park. A premium giveaway and post-game fireworks await fans on the first "Dollar Beer Night" of the season as Rockland begins their quest for a third straight regular season championship.

Rockland Boulders 2016 individual game tickets will go on-sale on Monday, April 25, but season tickets are currently available. Benefits include an all-expenses paid trip to Cooperstown, NY for the second "Cooperstown Can-Am Classic" on July 26 and our "No Ticket Goes Unused" policy. Outfield Box seats are available for $450 per seat ($8 per game), with Infield Box seats going for $500 per seat ($9 per game).
