Dayton Bombers News Release

TROY, Oh -- The Dayton Bombers fell behind early and never caught up, falling at Troy's Hobart Arena to the division-leading Johnstown Chief's 4-1.

Former Bomber Petr Pohl got the scoring started at 7:01 in the first, followed by a Kyle Wharton power-play tally at 15:40 in a period punctuated by several fights and numerous penaties.

Johnstown padded it's lead at 8:45 of the second on a Jon Landry power-play goal before the Bombers got their lone score. That came at 17:54 on a power-play goal by Jarret Lukin with assists to Dan Riedel and Justin Bowers.

The only third period goal was an empty-netter by the Chief's Ryan Garlock at 19:04.

The Bombers host Johnstown again Sunday afternoon at 5 p.m. at the Nutter Center.
