Boise Hawks Present 2013 Baseball Coaches Clinic

BOISE, ID- The Boise Hawks will present the first of two 2013 Baseball Coaches Clinics at the Caven-Williams Sports Complex on the campus of Boise State University this weekend. The Hitting and Defense Clinic takes place January 18, 19, 20, 21, with the Pitching and Catching Clinic taking place February 1, 2, and 3.
Baseball professionals from all levels will be in Boise to speak on all areas of the game, as well as demonstrate their teaching philosophies and drills as they instruct high school and college level players.
These clinics will give coaches from all levels an opportunity to learn from some of the best instructors in the game. The clinic staff will include YOUR Boise Hawks Manager, Gary Van Tol, as well as other coaches, players, and scouts from the Chicago Cubs and other Major League Organizations such as the Los Angeles Dodgers and the San Francisco Giants; as well as NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, and Junior College coaches. The clinics present the opportunity to have your questions answered while learning the proper fundamentals and techniques of throwing, receiving, hitting, pitching, base running, situational and team defense. You will also learn about the "mental game," strength and conditioning, injury prevention, college recruiting, professional baseball, private instructors, showcase events, travel teams, all-star teams, parental involvement and practice organization.
"The Coaches Clinic offers a hands-on, up close and personal experience, not offered in the traditional clinic/camp setting. It's truly unique. You won't find a coaches clinic format like this anywhere that benefits coaches of all levels," said Van Tol.
