Boeheim & Babers Visit NYSEG Stadium May 18

BINGHAMTON, NY - Syracuse University men's basketball head coach Jim Boeheim and football head coach Dino Babers will visit NYSEG Stadium on May 18 and participate in a pregame Meet and Greet with fans prior to the Binghamton Mets' 6:35 PM game against the Altoona Curve.

Boeheim and Babers will be interacting with fans from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM down the right-field line before they throw out the first pitch. While fans are welcome to pose for pictures with the coaches, the B-Mets kindly ask to refrain from requesting autographs to ensure all fans get the opportunity to meet both coaches.

Boeheim is fresh off a memorable run to the Final Four of the NCAA Tournament. After narrowly making the cut, the Orange rattled off four straight victories, including a come-from-behind win over top-seeded Virginia. Boeheim, a veteran of 40 seasons at Syracuse has led the school to five Final Fours and one championship.

Babers prepares for his first season leading the Syracuse football program. After 28 years coaching with 12 different schools, Babers got his first head coaching opportunity with Eastern Illinois in 2012. He went 19-7 in two seasons before taking another head coaching positing at Bowling Green. He capped his two-year stint with the Falcons by winning the MAC championship in 2015.

The coaches are taking part in Syracuse University's "No Huddle Tour" to connect with Syracuse Alumni, Orange fans and friends of the University across Upstate New York.
