Blues Recall Woywitka

ST. LOUIS - St. Louis Blues President John Davidson announced today the club has recalled defenseman Jeff Woywitka from the Blues' American Hockey League affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen.

Woywitka, 24, has played in seven games with the Blues this season, registering one assist along with two penalty minutes. He has also skated in 52 games for the Rivermen this season, recording 30 points (10 goals, 20 assists) along with 35 penalty minutes.

The Vermilion, Alberta native has skated in 67 career NHL games, recording 10 points (one goal, nine assists) along with 39 penalty minutes.

Peoria will return to action this Friday night at 7 pm when they host the Grand Rapids Griffins at Carver Arena. Hannah Montana's "Lilly", played by Emily Osment, will be on hand from 6 - 8:30 pm to sign autographs and pose for pictures with fans! It's also Advance Auto Parts Hat Night as well, so come down early to get your free lid and take in some great hockey!
