Blues Recall Ian Cole and Adam Cracknell

St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has recalled defenseman Ian Cole and forward Adam Cracknell from the Blues' American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen.
In addition, forward Vladimir Sobotka has been activated from injured reserve. Sobotka has missed the last 13 games due to a broken left foot suffered in the Blues' 1-0 loss to Calgary on February 27.
Cole, 22, has appeared in 24 games for the Blues this season recording four points including a goal and three assists. With Peoria, the 6'1, 221-pound defenseman has dressed in 40 games tallying 13 points including five goals and eight assists. The Ann Arbor, Michigan native was originally drafted by the Blues in the first round, 18th overall, of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
Cracknell, 25, has played in 22 games for the Blues this season notching six points including three goals and three assists. The 6'1, 216-pound forward has also made 55 appearances for the Rivermen amassing 21 points including six goals and 15 assists. The Prince Albert, Saskatchewan native was signed by the Blues as a free agent on July 23, 2009.
Sobotka, 23, has made 58 appearances for the Blues this season setting career highs with 24 points including six goals and 18 assists as well as 50 penalty minutes. The Trebic, Czech Republic native was originally drafted by Boston in the fourth round, 106th overall, of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
