WINNIPEG, MB – The following is a list of community events the Winnipeg Blue Bomber players, coaches, staff, alumni, mascots and dance team members will be attending during the next few weeks:

MARCH 16 – Brooklands School will play host to THE BLUE BOMBERS OFF-SEASON BASKETBALL TEAM who go up against the Winnipeg Police Service as part of the club’s Stay-In-School initiative. Tip-off is set for 1:00 p.m.

MARCH 17 – WADE MILLER will speak to approximately 70 students from local schools about setting goals and staying in school. The event, organized by the group A Real Future, takes place from 12:00 Noon-1:00 p.m. in the band room at St. James Collegiate.

MARCH 17 – THE BLUE BOMBERS OFF-SEASON BASKETBALL TEAM travels to Pine Falls for a game at Powerview School as part of the club’s Stay-In-School initiative. Tip-off goes at 12:00 Noon.

MARCH 20 – The BLUE BOMBERS HOCKEY TEAM travels to St. Andrews for a game at the St. Andrews Community Club. An autograph session takes place from 5:30- 6:30 p.m. with the team hitting the ice at 7:00 p.m.

MARCH 21 – Fashion maven DAVE MUDGE goes from the runway to the microphone, as he will emcee the Samuel Burland School Fashion Show. The haute couture happenings begin at 5:00 p.m.

MARCH 23 – THE BLUE BOMBERS OFF-SEASON BASKETBALL TEAM travels to Stevenson School to play a team from the Winnipeg Police Service as part of the club’s Stay-In-School initiative. Tip-off goes at 1:00 p.m.

MARCH 24 – The Winnipeg Football Club’s ANNUAL INFORMATION SESSION & FAN FORUM takes place in the Blue & Gold Room at Canad Inns Stadium. The event begins at 7:00 p.m. with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. The club’s BOARD OF DIREECTORS, PLAYERS, COACHES, STAFF, BLUE LIGHTNING DANCE TEAM MEMBERS and BUZZ & BOOMER will be at the event.

APRIL 6 – Luxton School is the next venue for THE BLUE BOMBERS OFF-SEASON BASKETBALL TEAM, who take on the Winnipeg Police Service as part of the club’s Stay-In-School initiative. Tip-off is slated for 11:00 a.m.

APRIL 13 – THE BLUE BOMBERS OFF-SEASON BASKETBALL TEAM heads off to George McDowell School to play the Winnipeg Police Service as part of the club’s Stay-In-School initiative. Tip-off goes at 11:45 a.m.
