WINNIPEG, MB. - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce the addition of International defensive end Eric Martin to the practice roster .
Martin (6-2, 250, Nebraska, July 21, 1991 in Moreno Valley, CA) is a veteran of 33 NFL games, most recently playing in four with the New England Patriots in 2015. Previous to that, Martin spent two seasons with Cleveland, playing in 29 games over two seasons, including all 16 games in 2013. Martin has compiled 16 tackles, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery during his NFL career.
Martin played his collegiate football at Nebraska, appearing in 53 games with 16 starts from 2009-12. He recorded 123 tackles, 22 tackles for loss, 11 sacks, one forced fumble, and three fumble recoveries. Martin earned first-team All-Big Ten honors as a senior in 2012 after starting 12 of 14 games, and leading the team with 8.5 sacks and 18 tackles for loss.
