Friday, October 20, 2017 at Spokane - 3-2 Win

Garrett Pilon and Connor Zary scored in the shootout to give the Blazers a 3-2 win in Spokane on Friday night. Dylan Ferguson stopped 40 shots and two more shooters in the shootout. Jermaine Loewen and Joe Gatenby had the goals in regulation. Click here for Highlights & Recap.

Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Tri-City - 6-3 Loss

The Blazers fell 6-3 in Tri-City to end their three game winning streak. Dylan Ferguson made 21 saves and Max Palaga made seven saves in the loss. Garrett Pilon, Carson Denomie and Joe Gatenby had goals for the Blazers.. Click here for Highlights & Recap.

Garand and Brandwood Win WHL Cup in Calgary

The Blazers had five 2002-born prospects participate in the WHL Cup held in Calgary this past week.

Goaltender Dylan Garand (3rd round, 2017) and defenseman Ethan Brandwood (7th round, 2017) both won the Gold Medal with Team B.C. Garand stopped 24 shots in the win for Team B.C. and Brandwood had one assist in five games.

Forward prospect Reese Belton (5th round, 2017) had a goal in the tournament to help Team Manitoba to a Bronze Medal. Forwards Josh Pillar (1st round, 2017) and Ethan Ironside (9th round, 2017) were pointless for fourth place Saskatchewan.
