Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers have selected center Logan Stankoven with the fifth overall pick in the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft.

Stankoven is a Kamloops native who played with Yale Academy out of Abbotsford, BC. In 30 games this season he had 57 goals, 33 assists and 90 points this season.

"Logan is the player we have coveted all season," commented Director of Player Personnel, Matt Recchi. "He is a dynamic player and true competitor every time he steps on the ice. We are very excited to add Logan to the Kamloops Blazers."

The 5'7" and 165lb right shot center is born and raised in Kamloops. In 2017, he led the Kamloops Bantam AAA team to a win at the historic Kamloops International Bantam Ice Hockey Tournament.

The first opportunity to see Logan will be at the Blazers spring prospects camp June 1-3 in Kamloops.
