Blazers Host Seattle Friday at ISC

The Blazers play tonight in Vancouver after hosting the Giants here at ISC on Saturday night. They will be looking for another victory after defeating the Giants 9-5 on home ice in front of a sold out crowd. Game time is 7pm; catch the play by play with Jon Keen on Radio NL 610am or www.radionl.com.

Kamloops vs Seattle Friday

On Friday night, the Blazers host the Seattle Thunderbirds in their only game of the weekend. This is the 4th and final meeting between the two teams this regular season. Game time is 7pm.

The Blazers Ticket Office is open Thursday from 9am-5pm and on Friday (game day) from 9am through game time; charge by phone is available during these hours as well by calling 250-828-3339.

Lipon, Hrbas, Thomson International Duty

JC Lipon (Team Canada National Junior Team), Marek Hrbas (Czech Republic National Junior Team), and Jordan Thomson (Canada West, World U17 Challenge) remain away on international duty. Prospects Mitch Lipon and Connor Clouston have been skating with the Blazers and have seen game action while Lipon, Hrbas and Thomson are away.

Shynkaruk Mac's MVP

Blazers prospect Jesse Shynkaruk impressed at the illustrious Mac's Midget AAA Tournament in Calgary which wrapped up Tuesday. Shynkaruk, who plays with the Saskatoon Contacts, picked up 13 points in 6 games at the tournament which earned him MVP and 1st Team All-Star honours. The Blazers selected Shynkaruk, 16, in the 7th round of the 2011 WHL Bantam Draft.
