Bissonnette Back In Wilkes-Barre

WILKES-BARRE, PA - The Pittsburgh Penguins (NHL) have reassigned defenseman Paul Bissonnette and from the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL) to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (AHL), it was announced on Thursday.

Bissonnette, 20, has appeared in 10 games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton this season, recording one assist, 17 penalty minutes and a plus-2 rating. The rookie from Welland, Ontario also has 10 points (3+7), four penalty minutes and a plus-4 rating in 14 games with Wheeling this season.

He was Pittsburgh's fourth round choice (121st overall) in the 2003 Entry Draft.
