Today's Game

Tonight, the Bisons close out their four-game series at PNC Field against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (6:35 p.m.). Up 2-1, the Herd can pick up its first series victory of the season with a win tonight. Buffalo's next six games are against the Red Wings, starting with three at Frontier Field, April 22-24.

Last Game (BUF 8, SWB 1)

LHP Wade LeBlanc struck out eight and allowed just one run on four hits in seven innings of an 8-1 Herd win over Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. The Bisons collected a season-high 16 hits, with OF Domonic Brown doubling, homering twice and picking up four RBI. INF Alexi Casilla added four hits and two RBI in the win.

vs. Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (2-1)

A series win for the Bisons would be their fourth victory in their last five trips to PNC Field dating back to the end of the 2014 season. Last year, Buffalo swept a two-game set, June 26-28, and took three of four in Moosic, July 4-6. These teams will meet next in Buffalo, May 2-4.

Casey Lawrence

RHP Casey Lawrence starts on normal rest for the first time this season. The righty didn't make his debut until the sixth day of the season in a doubleheader on April 12 in Syracuse. He then worked on short rest in a start last Saturday against Pawtucket. Lawrence is 0-2 on the year with a 9.00 ERA, in search of his first career Triple-A victory.

Domonic Brown

OF Domonic Brown slugged two home runs and added a double and four RBI to his monster night on Wednesday. Brown is now tied for the IL-lead with four homers on the season, while his 10 RBI are tied for 3rd. It was the Bisons first multi-homer game since INF Ryan Schimpf accomplished the feat May 15, 2015 against Toledo.

Matt Dominguez

INF Matt Dominguez comes into tonight with a streak of four consecutive multi-hit performances. The infielder is 10 for his last 16 (.625) with two doubles, a home run and six RBI since Sunday. Dominguez has raised his season average to .304, including an even .400 (12-30) against right-handed pitching.

Bisons Bits

DH Jesus Montero has hit in six straight games, with a .320 (8-25) average since April 15. Montero and INF Andy Burns are two of the four IL hitters with five doubles on the season...1B Casey Kotchman has drawn a walk in seven of his last eight games played and has failed to reach base just once in 10 contests.. With 14 strikeouts, RHP Dustin Antolin is 5th among IL relievers with 15.12 K/9.0IP.

Blue Jays Update

The Orioles snapped the Blue Jays' (8-8) three-game win streak with a 4-3 victory last night. Baltimore C Caleb Joseph doubled with two outs in the 10th inning and scored the game-winning run on a passed ball. Toronto's rally from 3-0 down included 3B Josh Donaldson's sixth homer of the season. The Blue Jays face the O's again tonight at 7:05 p.m.
