TODAY'S GAME: Tonight, the Buffalo Bisons take on the Toledo Mud Hens in the third game of a four-game series at Fifth Third Field (6:30 p.m.). The Herd has already taken the first two in the series with a 6-2 victory last night and a 5-3 win on Monday. Buffalo is 3-3 so far on this eight-game roadtrip that began with a series defeat to the Columbus Clippers at Cooper Stadium (1-3). On the mound tonight will be RHP Matt Ginter. Ginter is coming off his third straight quality start as he last pitched at Columbus in a 3-2 victory on Friday (6.0IP, 1ER, 2K). Toledo will send out RHP Virgil Vasquez on the mound tonight.

TEAM EFFORT: Last night the Herd scored 6 runs on 14 hits, with each Bisons' player recording at least one hit. INF Josh Barfield led the way with three hits, while OF Todd Linden, INF Jordan Brown and OF Brad Snyder each had a two-hit night. For Linden, his two singles where his first hits in a Bisons uniform and in the International League.

BACK ON TRACK: RHP Matt Ginter has bounced back nicely form an 0-4 start to the season. Ginter has found his groove in his last three efforts, with two wins and there quality starts since May 11. In those three starts, Ginter has lowered his ERA over two points, from 7.24 to 5.17. Ginter is second on team with 47.0 innings of work this season.

DOUBLE TROUBLE: INF Jordan Brown recorded another double in last night's game, giving him five doubles in seven games since coming off the disabled list (May 19). Brown now has 15 doubles on the season, tied with INF Josh Barfield for the team lead. Barfield also had a double in yesterday's victory while going 3-6 with 2 runs scored. Both Brown and Barfield are tied for fourth in doubles in International League.

RBI-GUY: Last night OF Jason Cooper recorded his 200th RBI of his five-year Bisons career. Only Bill Selby (245), Jeff Manto (207) and Russell Branyan (202) reached that plateau in the Bisons Modern Era. Cooper is now tied for the Bison's season RBI lead with INF Aaron Herr at 23RBI.

BISONS BITS: With last nights start, LHP Jeremy Sowers' 2.18ERA is now 4th in the IL...INF Jorge Velandia is 4-10 (.400) in his first two games in a Bisons uniform...Manager Torey Lovullo now has won #496 games in his six-plus years as a manager.
