Billings Outlaws News Release
The Billings Outlaws made it official today and have renewed their broadcast relationship with KBLG radio.
"We are really excited to continue our partnership with KBLG" stated Outlaws co-owner Wally Yovetich. "We had several other stations contact us this off season to host our home and away games but we have had a fantastic tenure with KBLG and have worked with such great people at the station that it made sense to continue the success we have had with them."
Chris McCarthy, General Manager for KBLG said, "The Outlaws have really grown in popularity with us this last season and our fans and our advertisers have made it easy and desirable to continue that. We feel honored to broadcast the only Professional Sports team from Montana to ever win a National championship and are confident that the Outlaws will be in the thick of it again this year."
The Outlaws will have a new play by play announcer and will add a color commentator to their broadcast team this year. Dave Sibley will provide the color commentary and David Babcock will deliver the fast paced play by play. Sibley played in a College Championship game to complete his football career on the field and Babcock was an all star safety. Both have broadcast many of the Billings Central Football Games.
The KBLG radio broadcast will also be synced up in a studio in Los Angeles with a live broadcast of all away games and available anywhere there is a high speed internet connection available. Billings Outlaws Season tickets are on sale at the Metra. 406 256-2400
