Bighorns' Jordan and Landry Named to 2013 All-NBA D-League Showcase Teams

RENO, NEV, Jan. 14, 2012 -Jerome Jordan and Marcus Landry have been named to the 2013 All NBA D-League Showcase teams, the NBA Development League announced today. Jordan was named to the First Team, while Landry earned Second team honors.

Fifteen top NBA prospects were selected to the All-NBA Development League Showcase First, Second, and Third teams, as selected by a panel of NBA Scouts and NBA D-League personnel following the four-day, 16-game NBA D-League Showcase that took place last week in Reno, Nev.

Top prospects and NBA alumni Luke Harangody (Fort Wayne Mad Ants), Jerome Jordan (Reno Bighorns), Jeremy Lamb (Tulsa 66ers on assignment from the Oklahoma City Thunder), Shelvin Mack (Maine Red Claws) and DaJuan Summers (Maine Red Claws) were selected to the First Team for their efforts at the Showcase.

Bakersfield's Damion James, now of the Brooklyn Nets following a GATORADE Call-Up, Austin's Cory Joseph, on assignment from the San Antonio Spurs, Reno's Marcus Landry, Sioux Falls' Dexter Pittman, on assignment from the Miami Heat, and Texas' Chris Roberts comprise the Second Team, while Los Angeles' Courtney Fortson, Fort Wayne's Ron Howard, Erie's D.J. Kennedy, Rio Grande Valley's Terrence Jones, on assignment from the Houston Rockets, and Tulsa's Daniel Orton, on assignment from the Oklahoma City Thunder, round out the third team. An additional 10 players earned Honorable Mention honors.

Harangody (6-8, 240, Notre Dame), who began the season with the Cleveland Cavaliers, averaged 22.5 points and 14.0 rebounds in two wins for the Mad Ants in Reno. On the season, he is averaging 18.8 points and 14.7 rebounds in six games for Fort Wayne. Jordan (7-0, 235, Tulsa), who played for the New York Knicks last season, averaged 20.0 points and 7.0 rebounds in two Showcase wins for the Bighorns last week. For the season, he is averaging 16.1 points and 8.4 rebounds.

Lamb (6-5, 180, Connecticut), who was selected in the first round (12th overall) of the 2012 NBA Draft by Oklahoma City and was playing in the NBA D-League Showcase on assignment from the Thunder, averaged 25.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 5.0 assists as the 66ers split their games in Reno. In 11 games in Tulsa this season, Lamb is averaging 21.5 points and 5.4 assists, while he is averaging 1.8 points in 14 games for the Thunder.

Maine teammates Shelvin Mack (6-3, 215, Butler) and DaJuan Summers (6-8, 240, Georgetown) averaged 12.0 points and 3.5 assists and 30.0 points and 6.5 rebounds, respectively. Mack, who earned a GATORADE Call-Up to the Washington Wizards on Dec. 24, is averaging 20.9 points and 7.8 assists in 13 games for the Red Claws this season. Summers, who has appeared in 81 career NBA games over the last three seasons, is averaging 18.8 points and 8.4 rebounds in 17 games for Maine this year.
