Bighorns Come up Short against D-Fenders

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 13, 2013 - The Reno Bighorns (10-17) fell against the Los Angeles D-Fenders (12-17) 115-89 Wednesday night in L.A.
The Bighorns trailed much of the game and shot just 39.7% from the field. Tajuan Porter was the high scorer for Reno, with 18 points. Dar Tucker and Desmon Farmer each had 16 points for the Bighorns.
The D-Fenders were led by Courtney Fortson's 22 points, five rebounds and five assists. Elijah Milsap had 21 points for L.A.
The Bighorns were out-scored in the paint 50-32 by L.A. The D-Fenders shot 51.1% from the field on 47-92 shooting.
The Bighorns will be off this weekend for the NBA D-League All-Star game. Marcus Landry and Jerome Jordan will represent Reno in the game on Saturday.
Reno returns home next Monday, February 18 to take on the Maine Red Claws at 7 p.m. at the Reno Events Center.
