Bighorns Acquire Guard Aubrey Coleman

Reno, Nev., Feb. 22, 2013 - The Bighorns today acquired guard Aubrey Coleman in a trade with the Austin Toros. Reno sent guard Dontell Jefferson to Austin in exchange for Coleman.
Coleman (6-4, 200) played collegiately at the University of Houston. He led the nation in scoring for the 2009-10, averaging 25.6 points per game. In 2009, Coleman was named the Conference USA Newcomer of the Year.
Coleman has played three games for the Austin Toros this season, averaging 13.0 points and 4.3 rebounds per game.
"We are excited to have Aubrey here in Reno," said Bighorns coach, Paul Mokeski. "He is a scoring-combo guard that will help us out at the point guard position."
Dontell Jefferson had played in 12 games for the Bighorns, averaging 3.1 points and 2.1 rebounds per game.
Coleman will be in action tonight as Reno faces the Los Angeles D-Fenders at 7 p.m. for Reno Rodeo night. The first 1500 fans to the game will receive a Bighorns belt buckle.
