Beavers-Bees Postponed Due To Rain Sunday

SALT LAKE CITY - Sunday's scheduled game between the Portland Beavers and Salt Lake Bees was postponed due to rain and will be made up as part of a doubleheader at Spring Mobile Ballpark on Monday, April 27, it was announced this morning.
Monday's doubleheader will feature two seven-inning games, with a first pitch of 4:05 p.m. (Pacific).
Right-handed pitcher Matt Buschmann (1-1, 5.52) is scheduled to start game one for the Beavers (10-7); right-hander Mike Ekstrom (1-0, 0.79) will start the second game of the doubleheader. The Bees (11-5) are slated to counter with right-hander Brad Salmon (0-0, 0.00) in the first game and right-hander Mike MacDonald (1-1, 7.71) in the nightcap.
