NEWARK, NJ - May 10, 2006 - The Newark Bears scored three runs in the first inning, one in the second, and two in the third to defeat the Camden Riversharks 7-5 at Campbell's Field in Camden, NJ Wednesday evening. The Bears are now an even 2-2 during this 5-game road trip and 4-5 on the season.
Dario Delgado hit a two-run single in the top of the first inning to start the scoring, and Victor Valencia's sacrifice fly in the top of the third inning broke a 4-4 tie, to give the Bears the lead for good.
