Bears Release Four Players from Training Camp

HERSHEY, Pa. - The HERSHEY BEARS have announced that four players have been released from the club's 2012 training camp. The announcement was made by BEARS President/GM Doug Yingst.
Those players, all of whom will report to the ECHL's Reading Royals, are defensemen Brett Flemming and forwards Alex Berry, Joel Champagne and T.J. Syner.
HERSHEY now has 27 players on its active roster:
GOALTENDERS (2): Braden Holtby, Dany Sabourin
DEFENSEMEN (9): Julien Brouillette, Tomas Kundratek, Kevin Marshall, Patrick McNeill, Steven Oleksy, Dmitry Orlov, Cameron Schilling, Garrett Stafford, Patrick Wellar
FORWARDS (16): Barry Almeida, Mathieu Beaudoin, Mike Carman, Matt Clackson, Jon DiSalvatore, Stanslav Galiev, Zach Hamill, Jon Kalinski, Boyd Kane, Garrett Mitchell, Danick Paquette, Matt Pope, Ryan Potulny, Mattias Sjogren, Ryan Stoa, Jeff Taffe
The BEARS open their 75th season in the American Hockey League this coming Saturday, October 13 on the road against the Syracuse Crunch. Faceoff is set for 7:30 PM.
The club will play its home opener on Saturday, October 20 with a 7:00 PM faceoff against the Rochester Americans. The first 8,000 fans will receive a team schedule magnet courtesy of PNC Bank.
