Beach Bums to Host 2016 FANfest

TRAVERSE CITY, MI -- The Traverse City Beach Bums baseball club is proud to present their 11th Annual FANfest. The day will start at 11am on Saturday, May 7th and with it single game tickets will be available either at the ballpark or online. There is no admission charge to this event. Fans who come out to the park, will be able to take advantage of a great offer. When you buy 10 tickets, you get 5 tickets free. FANFest will also be a great opportunity to get first look at the new Short's Biergarten featuring beer from Short's Brewing Company and the Cider Shack featuring cider from Starcut Ciders. They will also feature a new concession menu!
Fans will also be able to taste some of Northern Michigan's best wines and spirits in the new Sand Bar & Bottle Shop, which will also include meat and cheese trays. They'll be able to purchase samples, by the glass, or bottles to go following the game. The annual Yellow/Navy Game will be a great chance for everyone to get their first look at the 2016 Beach Bums as they prepare to defend the 2015 Frontier League Championship.
Gates open at 11am
Team batting practice starts at noon
The Yellow/Navy Game starts at 1pm
After the game, the 2016 Beach Bums players will be out on the concourse to greet the fans, chat and sign autographs. Fans are welcome to come for all or part of the day and remember, this event is FREE . All in all, it will be a great time. Come on out and join us!
