San Francisco Bulls News Release

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - The San Francisco Bulls Professional Hockey Team, proud affiliate of the San Jose Sharks, are inviting fans from around the Bay Area to take part in the team's first Teddy Bear Toss, presented by Seton Medical Center, on Friday, December 7, when the Bulls host the Colorado Eagles at 7:15 pm. Bring in a new teddy bear or stuffed animal to the game to participate.

Experience a longtime ice hockey holiday tradition where fans are encouraged to throw a teddy bear or other stuffed animal onto the ice, following the Bulls' first goal of the game. The moment the puck crosses the line, the goal light comes on, and the referee signals goal, it's time to launch the bears. Don't wait for the announcement; just let them fly, immediately! All of the stuffed animals collected will be delivered by Seton Medical Center to children in need, especially during the Holiday season.

For over a decade, hundreds of thousands of hockey fans across North America have taken part in Teddy Bear Toss games in the American Hockey League, ECHL, Central Hockey League and the major junior leagues. Come be part of a special night.

The Bulls take to the road for games this week against the Las Vegas Wranglers (Thursday at 7:05 pm) and the Utah Grizzlies (Friday and Saturday at 6:05 pm). The Bulls return home to face the Bakersfield Condors on Wednesday, December 5 for Get a Pair Wednesdays. Get 2-for-1 hot dogs at the Cow Palace. On Friday, December 7, the Bulls host the Colorado Eagles for a Teddy Bear Toss. Get your tickets by calling 855-SF-BULLS.
