Battalion Announces First-Round Schedule

North Bay Battalion News Release

NORTH BAY, Ont. - The North Bay Battalion will open its best-of-seven Eastern Conference quarterfinal series against the Peterborough Petes at home at 7 p.m. Friday, the Ontario Hockey League club announced Sunday.

The Battalion finished second in the Central Division and third in the conference, while Peterborough was third in the East Division and sixth in the conference.

The clubs meet in the playoffs for the second time, with the Battalion, then based in Brampton, having won the previous series, a 2009 conference quarterfinal, in four games.

Following is the series schedule:

Friday, March 25, at North Bay 7 p.m.

Sunday, March 27, at North Bay 2 p.m.

Tuesday, March 29, at Peterborough 7:05 p.m.

Thurday, March 31, at Peterborough 7:05 p.m.

*Friday, April 1, at North Bay 7 p.m.

*Sunday, April 3, at Peterborough 7:05 p.m.

*Tuesday, April 5, at North Bay 7 p.m.
