LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Louisville Bats five game winning streak was snapped, as the Toledo Mud Hens take the win, 9-3. The Mud Hens had a multi-run inning in the sixth and a combined two home runs in the seventh and ninth innings.

Toledo right-hander Preston Guilmet (1-0,0.69) earned the win, pitching two innings and striking out two. Louisville right-hander Chad Rogers (2-2, 2.03) took the loss, pitching five innings allowing three hits, two runs, two walks, and striking out three.

The Mud Hens were on the board first, as third baseman Casey McGehee hit a single to right field to bring in two runs to give the Mud Hens to a 2-0 lead.

The Bats threatened when Steve Selsky led off the second inning with a solo home run to left field, but that was all for the Bats in the second, as Toledo remained ahead 2-1.

Toledo added three more runs in the sixth as a double by Casey McGehee brought in three runs, but the Mud Hens did not stop there, as a deep single to center would bring in McGehee to bring the Toledo lead to 6-1.

Louisville threatened again in the sixth, as a single by Seth Mejias-Brean brought in two runs, but Toledo remained in the lead, 6-3.

The Mud Hens continued to add to their lead in the seventh with two more runs when Chad Huffman hit a home run to push Toledo's lead to 8-3.

Toledo hit another home run in the ninth, this time by Steven Moya, to give the Mud Hens a 9-3 win.

The Bats will try to take the series tomorrow night as right-hander Robert Stephenson (3-2, 3.28) will take the mound. The Mud Hens will counter with left-hander Daniel Norris (2-4,5.67). First pitch will be at 7:05 p.m.
