Barons Assign Gimblett and Arcobello to Stockton

Oklahoma City - The Oklahoma City Barons have assigned forwards Jesse Gimblett and Mark Arcobello to the Stockton Thunder of the ECHL, the front office announced today.

Arcobello, a 5-9, 165 pound forward out of Milford, Conn., played four seasons of collegiate hockey for Yale. Arcobello totaled 116 points in his time with the Bulldogs, including 49 goals. Gimblett is a 6-2, 210 pound forward from Newtonville, ON, Canada. Last season he played four games with the Edmonton Oilers' AHL affiliate following his time at the University of Alberta. Both players had attended the Barons' training camp in late September.

The Barons season continues this Friday at home against the Houston Aeros. Faceoff is set for 7:05 p.m. at the Cox Convention Center. The first 2,000 fans in attendance will receive a glow in the dark hockey mask. The Barons also play at home Saturday against the Lake Erie Monsters. NOTES: The Barons parent club, the Edmonton Oilers play the Minnesota Wild on the road this Thursday. Faceoff is at 7:30 p.m. CDT from the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota.
