Bankers vs. Bakers Charity Game Set for March 9

CHARLOTTE, NC-The Charlotte Checkers announced today the details surrounding the Wells Fargo "Bankers vs. Bakers" charity hockey game, which will take place Saturday, March 9 at 1 p.m. at Time Warner Cable Arena.
Wells Fargo employees will take on Johnson & Wales University students and faculty in a friendly game, with proceeds benefiting A Child's Place, a local non-profit organization that works to erase the impact of homelessness on children and their education.
Admission is $15 and includes a 45-minute public skating session following the game and a ticket to the Checkers game later that night at 7 p.m. Attendees can bring their own skates or rent a pair for $5 (subject to availability).
Last year's game involved employees of Wells Fargo and US Airways and raised $6,700 for the United Way of Central Carolinas.
