WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Baltimore Brigade have signed rookie QB Shane Carden to their roster for their inaugural season presented by MedStar Health. Carden played collegiately at East Carolina University and was the 2013 Conference USA MVP. During that season, he set a school record for career passing yards (4,139) and touchdowns (33). In 2014, he broke his own record by compiling 4,736 in passing yards. He finished his senior year by being named the 2014 American Athletic Conference offensive player of the year.
"We are excited to have a player of Shane's caliber on our team," said head coach Omarr Smith. "He put up jaw-dropping numbers in college, has proven he can make all of the necessary throws and is a playmaker. I am looking forward to seeing him pick up the arena game."
Following a successful collegiate career, Carden went to the Chicago Bears' training camp in 2015 before playing professionally in the German Football League and most recently with the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League.
Full season-ticket memberships are currently on sale for the inaugural season. Full season tickets start at just $8 per game.
