Baltimore Arena Football Team Adds to Roster

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Baltimore Arena Football team announced the signings of additional players to their roster for their inaugural season presented by MedStar Health.

WR Marcus Harris who played for the Iowa Barnstormers in 2013 was assigned to the team. He recorded 94 receptions, 1,223 receiving yards, and 19 touchdowns that season. Harris brings five years of NFL experience to Baltimore having spent time with the Detroit Lions and New York Giants. He attended Murray State University where he finished his career with 217 receptions, 2,479 receiving yards and 21 receiving touchdowns.

Veteran player DL Khreem Smith joins the Baltimore team after spending last season with the Jacksonville Sharks. He brings extensive experience to the team, having spent time with numerous professional teams including the Kansas City Chiefs and Minnesota Vikings. In addition to playing with the Jacksonville Sharks of the Arena Football League, Smith has played for the Memphis Xplorers and Chicago Rush of the Arenafootball2 and won the ArenaBowl Cup with Rush in 2006. Smith won the Grey Cup as a member of the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League. He has received numerous accolades including af2 Lineman of the Year, AFL All-Rookie, Second-team All-Arena and First Team All-Arena.

Second year player DB Qumain Black rounds out the new additions to the Baltimore team. He spent last season with the L.A. KISS. He attended East Central University and earned All-Great American Conference honorable mention as well as First Team honors. Prior to joining the KISS, Black spent time with the Chicago Bears.

"The signing of these three players is a big step in establishing the foundation for our football program," said head coach Omarr Smith. "Qumain Black is a young talented DB, Marcus Harris is an explosive WR, and Khareem Smith is a dominant defensive lineman that has played at a high level. We are thrilled to have them be a part of the Baltimore team."

Full season-ticket memberships are currently on sale for the inaugural season. Full season tickets start at just $8 per game.
