B-Sens to Host Fourth Annual Hockey & Heels Event

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that they will host their fourth annual Hockey & Heels event, presented by Clear Channel Radio, on Tuesday, March 5. The event is open to all women ages 18 and over.
Beginning at 5 p.m. participants will meet in the Arena Club on the third floor of the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena to enjoy a special happy hour featuring a wine tasting, hors d'oeuvres and cash bar courtesy of American Food & Vending. The women will then participate in a series of workshops.
Hockey & Heels workshops
* Live, on-ice hockey "chalk talk" with assistant coach Steve Stirling, featuring B-Sens players
* Broadcasting/play-by-play seminar featuring the voice of the B-Sens, Grady Whittenburg
* Video session with video coach Matt Meacham
* Hockey & Heels "photo booth" session
* Locker room tour and equipment tutorial with equipment manager Tom Severance
* Player Q & A
The event will be co-hosted by B-Sens' game night host Lisa Marie and Lori from the Mix 103.3 morning show.
Each participant will receive a commemorative Hockey & Heels wine glass, a gift bag courtesy of the Basketcase Soap Company and a ticket to the Saturday, March 9 B-Sens home game versus the Rochester Americans. Participants will also receive a raffle ticket for their chance to win great door prizes from the B-Sens, Clear Channel Radio, Je'taime Hair Dezine, and Tanning Bed.
New this year, on Saturday there will be a post-game Ladies' Night party in the "Zone" at the Binghamton Riverwalk Hotel & Conference Center (225 Water St., Binghamton). All B-Sens fans - male and female - are invited to the party, but Hockey & Heels participants will have access to a special V.I.P. area featuring drink specials.
Tickets for the event are $45 and can be purchased by contacting Karen Brown at 607-722-7367, in person at the B-Sens' executive offices, or by visiting the Hockey & Heels table on the arena concourse during upcoming B-Sens' home games.
