B-Sens Sign Forward Yannick Tifu
August 3, 2010 - American Hockey League (AHL) - Binghamton Senators News Release
The Binghamton Senators announced today that they have signed center Yannick Tifu to a one-year, American Hockey League contract.
Tifu, 26, spent the majority of the 2009-10 season with the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL. In 48 games with the Jackals, Tifu scored 15 goals, 41 assists and recorded 69 penalty minutes.
Tifu appeared in seven games for the B-Sens last season, scoring two goals, one assist and adding two penalty minutes.
The Brossard, Que. native has appeared in 71 career AHL games with Albany, Binghamton and Rochester recording 30 points (9 goals, 21 assists) and amassing 54 penalty minutes.
