B-Sens Recall Lowry From Elmira

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that they have recalled right wing Matt Lowry from Elmira of the ECHL.

Lowry, 22, spent the 2008-09 season with Brandon of the Western Hockey League. In 71 games with the Wheat Kings Lowry registered 13 goals and 64 assists for 77 points. He also appeared in 12 playoff games where he amassed three goals and 11 assists for 14 points.

The native of Neepawa, Man., appeared in three pre-season games with the B-Sens. Lowry was last recalled Oct. 10, appearing in one regular season game versus the Hershey Bears posting no points and earning two penalty minutes. He is expected to dress tonight as the B-Sens take on the Manchester Monarchs.

The B-Sens face the Monarchs tonight at 7:05 p.m. Fans can listen live on 680 WINR-AM or 1430 WENE-AM beginning 30 minutes before game time for Countdown to Faceoff with Grady Whittenburg, the voice of the B-Sens.
