B-Sens Assign Goaltender Chris Holt And Forward Tim Spencer To Elmira

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today they have assigned goaltender Chris Holt and forward Tim Spencer to the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL.

Holt, 24, has appeared in 16 games with the B-Sens. Holt posted an 8-7-0 record, 2.95 goals-against average and a.906 save percentage. He also posted three shutouts for Binghamton, the most recent on Jan. 15 versus the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (a 3-0 Senators victory).

Holt has also appeared in 12 games with the Jackals posting a 7-4-1 record, 3.00 goals-against average and 0.897 save percentage.

The Vancouver native was the New York Rangers' sixth round pick (108 overall) in the 2003 National Hockey League draft.

Spencer, 23, has appeared in 32 games with the B-Sens this season, scoring one goal. Spencer currently leads the Senators with 131 penalty minutes.

The Carnduff, Saskatchewan native has also appeared in two games with the Jackals this season, where he has amassed 13 penalty minutes.

The Binghamton Senators host the Albany River Rats tonight at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena at 7:05 p.m. for 80's night with the B-Sens presented by Riunite.
