B-Mets Series Opener With Sea Dogs Postponed Due To Rain

The Binghamton Mets series opener with the Portland Sea Dogs has been postponed due to rain. The contest will be made up as part of a doubleheader Friday, July 2 at 5:35 PM. Gates will open at 5:00 PM on that date. Monday's postponement marks the first time in 2010 the B-Mets have had a game rescheduled due to weather.

Binghamton (10-8) will push back its rotation and LHP Mike Antonini (2-1, 6.28), who was scheduled to start tonight, will make his normal turn in the rotation Tuesday night at 6:35 PM. Tentatively, Portland (9-8) will counter with RHP Ryne Miller (0-1, 6.92). Both men will be making their second consecutive start against the respective teams.

Gates open at 5:30 PM for tomorrow's 6:35 PM game with the Sea Dogs. As with every Tuesday, it will be a Two-for-Tuesday brought to you in part by 92.5 KGB FM. Fountain Cokes, Bud, Bud Light and Labatt draft beers will be two for the price of one. It's also "Toga" Two-for-Tuesday. All fans who wear a toga to Tuesday night's tilt will receive a free ticket at the NYSEG Stadium box office good for Tuesday's game with the Double-A Red Sox.
