LAST TIME OUT: The B-Mets totaled 11 hits but were shut out by the Altoona Curve, 7-0, Thursday night at Peoples Natural Gas Field. Joe Shaw struck out six but allowed three runs over five innings to take the loss in his Double-A debut. Phillip Evans was 2-for-5 and Amed Rosario went 4-for-5 with four singles.

BINGHAMTON STARTER: RHP Nabil Crismatt joins the B-Mets to make his Double-A debut. Crismatt opened the season with Brooklyn (SS-A) and was 0-1 with a 3.19 ERA and one save in eight appearances and three starts. He comes to the B-Mets from Columbia (Low-A) where he was 1-2 with a 1.88 ERA over four appearances, three starts. Crismatt last threw one week ago in Kannapolis as he allowed five runs, three earned, on ten hits and took the loss despite striking out ten.

ERIE STARTER: LHP Tyler Alexander will start for the SeaWolves, his sixth career start at Double-A. Alexander opened the season with Lakeland (High-A) and went 6-7 with a 2.21 ERA over 19 appearances. His last outing came on Saturday in Altoona and he allowed three runs on ten hits over 5.2 innings, taking a no-decision in a 5-4 14-inning loss.

UNCONVENTIONAL SHUTOUT: The B-Mets were shut out by Altoona, 7-0, on Thursday despite out-hitting the Curve, 11-9. 11 hits represented the most by the B-Mets in a shutout loss since 9/6/13 against Trenton, game three of the EDCS.

FOUR HITS THIS TIME: Amed Rosario went 4-for-5 with four singles on Thursday, his second four-hit game of the season and his first as a B-Met. Rosario became the 12th B-Met to notch for hits in a game and the second to do so without an extra-base hit. Derrik Gibson also tallied four singles on 6/23 against Altoona.

A STRIKEOUT PITCHER: Nabil Crismatt has recorded 67 strikeouts over 59.2 innings pitched in 2016 for a K/9 rate of 10.1. Crismatt has been a strikeout pitcher for his entire career, over his five seasons with the Mets he averages 9.67 strikeouts per nine innings pitched.

LEADERBOARD WATCHING: Phillip Evans' went 2-for-5 on Thursday, raising his batting average to .331. He is 16 plate appearances shy of qualifying for the league leaderboard, and his average would be second to only Portland's Anuery Tavarez (.335). Evans needs to average four plate appearances per game in Binghamton's final four in order to qualify for the batting title.

DO YOU REMEMBER...THE FIRST DAY OF SEPTEMBER: Thanks in part to a chain reaction due to the expansion of major league rosters on the first day of September, the B-Mets transferred Tyler Herron, Ricky Knapp and Xorge Carrillo to Las Vegas (AAA) on Thursday. Both Carrillo and Herron will appear at Triple-A for the first time since 2014 and Knapp joins the 51s for his second stint of 2016.

NEXT GAME PREVIEW: The final series continues on Saturday at 7:05 PM. Binghamton will throw RHP Rafael Montero against Erie RHP Thad Weber.
