Avalanche Reassign Forwards Gabriel Bourque and Sam Henley

SAN ANTONIO- A day after scoring his first-ever NHL goal with the Colorado Avalanche, forward Sam Henley has been reassigned to the San Antonio Rampage along with forward Gabriel Bourque. In addition, the Rampage have signed forward Thomas Frazee to a professional tryout contract.
Last night, Henley made his NHL debut against the Columbus Blue Jackets, recording a goal in the second period. Henley became the first Avalanche player to score a goal in his NHL debut since Stefan Elliott did it back on Nov. 26, 2011. The third-year pro also joins A.J. Greer as the second Rampage player to debut in the NHL this year. Henley has tallied four points including a goal and three assists in 19 games with the Rampage this season.
Henley is the latest of nine San Antonio Rampage products who have contributed a combined 11 goals and 26 assists during NHL call-ups in the two-year affiliation history with Colorado.
Bourque has collected five points including two goals and three assists in 11 games with the Rampage this season. He began the year with the Avalanche, skating in five games before being reassigned to San Antonio on Oct. 31 and added a sixth appearance in last night's 3-2 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Frazee, 26, has tallied 18 points, including 10 goals and eight assists in 23 ECHL games with the Atlanta Gladiators this season. Last year, he ranked second among Atlanta scorers with a career-high 47 points, including 16 goals and 31 assists in 71 games. Frazee last played in the AHL during the 2014-15 season skating in three games with the Charlotte Checkers, collecting a single assist.
The San Antonio Rampage return to the Alamo City to host their second back-to-back series against the San Jose Barracuda beginning Saturday night at 7 p.m. CT at the AT&T Center.
