Audi Field Topping off Ceremony Scheduled for January 26

WASHINGTON - D.C. United announced today that the topping off ceremony for Audi Field will occur on Friday, Jan. 26 at 2 PM. The ceremony will commemorate the placement of the final piece of structural steel in the new soccer-specific stadium. The milestone signifies another completed phase of construction at Audi Field.
Fans will be able to sign the final beam before it is set in place starting at 1:30 PM on Jan. 26 before the ceremony begins at 2:00 PM. There is no parking available on site - fans and media are encouraged to plan accordingly and walk to the site from the Navy Yard metro station, or Uber to the 50 Potomac Ave., drop-off point.
United's new home in Southwest D.C. is set to officially open at 7:00 PM on Saturday, July 14, when United host the Vancouver Whitecaps in the stadium's inaugural match.
