Attack Trim Roster Prior to Exhibition Games

The Owen Sound Attack trimmed down their training camp roster this weekend, prior to Sunday afternoons exhibition game against the Barrie Colts.
26 players remain on the roster including 3 goalies, 9 defensemen and 14 forwards.
The Attack is pleased to announce the signing of rookie defensemen Cole Cameron and Luke Beamish, along with left wing Nick Pryce to standard OHL player agreements.
"We are thrilled to have Cole, Luke and Nick join the Attack organization.", stated Attack General Manager Dale DeGray. "Coming into camp this year, there was not many spots available in our line-up and we believe adding these three young men will greatly improve the depth of our hockey club."
Cole Cameron is a 1998 born defenseman who joined the Attack on a free agent tryout after spending the 2015/2016 season with Ridley College. Nick Pryce, a 1999 born winger was an 8th Round Selection of the Attack in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection while Luke Beamish, a 2000 born defenseman was taken in the 3rd Round of the 2016 OHL Priority Selection.
Also new to the roster from the 2015/2016 season is goaltender Bradley Van Schubert and forward Matt Schmalz who were acquired in the off season via trade. 2016 1st Round Draft pick Aidan Dudas and 2016 1st Round Import Pick Maksim Sushko will also make their pre-season debut today against the Colts.
Game time is 2:00pm at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre and tickets are available at the Rob MacVicar/Shannon McComb Remax Box Ofice.
