Owen Sound Attack News Release

The Owen Sound Attack is pleased to announce that they have signed Jake Dotchin, Devon Rymarchuk and Kurtis MacDermid players to standard Ontario Hockey League player contracts. All three players are 17 years old and all three players were drafted by the Attack in the 2010 OHL Priority Selection.

Dotchin, a 6'3, 205lb defenseman was a 4th Round Selection of the Attack in the 2010 OHL Priority Selection and spent the 2010/2011 season with the Cambridge Winterhawks. The physical defenseman has a powerful shot and picked up his first goal of the pre season Sunday afternoon versus Barrie.

Rymarchuk, a 5th Round Pick of the Attack in 2010 spent last season with the Fort Erie Meteors and has made a noticeable impression on fans throughout training camp. The 6'03, 190lb forward spent his Minor Midget year as a teammate of Jarrod Maidens on the Hamilton Bulldogs Minor Midget AAA team.

MacDermid, a Sauble Beach, ON. native spent last season with the Owen Sound Grey's Hockey Club and was a 7th Round draft pick of the Attack in 2010. Kurtis is the younger brother of former Attack forward, Lane MacDermid. The 6'03, 185lb defenseman is also the son of Attack Co-Owner Paul MacDermid.

The Attack currently has 26 players left in camp (see Attached Roster). 21 of those players were either drafted by the Attack organization or acquired via Free Agent training camp invites.
