Owen Sound Attack News Release
The Owen Sound Attack is announcing that they have acquired goaltender Bradley Van Schubert from the Guelph Storm in exchange for a conditional 12th Round Pick in the 2018 Priority Selection. The 12th Round Pick will turn into an 8th Round Pick in 2018 should certain conditions be met.
Van Schubert, 19, is a Barrie native and has spent the last two season with the Guelph Storm. The 6'2, 200lb netminder has appeared in 37 regular season games, with a 4.76 Goals Against Average and an .875 Save percentage.
"In light of Daniel Dekoning's departure, we felt we needed to fill a void with an experienced goaltender that will battle for a spot on this team.", stated Attack General Manager, Dale DeGray. "Bradley has experience in this league, this division and by all accounts, is an excellent teammate. We're excited to have him on board."
The acquisition of Van Schubert will give the Attack three signed goaltenders when training camp begins in August.
