Atlanta Returns Stuart To Wolves

The Atlanta Thrashers have reassigned left wing Colin Stuart to the Chicago Wolves.

Stuart appeared in Atlanta's 4-2 loss to the Boston Bruins on Saturday night, registering two shots and a +1 plus/minus rating, after being recalled on Dec. 11. Overall, he has recorded three goals and five points in 19 National Hockey League contests with Atlanta over the last two seasons.

The 26-year-old forward has appeared in 25 matchups with the Wolves this season and ranks fourth on the squad with six goals and shares eighth with 11 points. Last year, he recorded eight assists and 16 points in 58 regular-season outings and three assists and six points in 24 postseason outings en route to the Calder Cup Championship with Chicago last season.

Overall, Stuart has amassed 48 goals, 88 points and 217 penalty minutes in 267 career regular-season AHL contests, and eight assists, 13 points and 28 penalty minutes in 39 playoff outings during five campaigns with the Wolves (2004 to 2008).
