The A's were unable to slow down the scoring efforts of River Lions' forwards Logan Stutz and BJ Monteiro, who combined for 55 points tonight. Monteiro would finish the game with 22 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. A's forward Justin Moss would contribute a game-high 25 points.

The Orangeville A's (8-20) were met with familiar faces tonight at the Meridian Centre, as they were set to play their 2nd consecutive game against the Niagara River Lions (11-18). The A's were hoping to seek out revenge against their Central Division rivals, after losing a closely fought match on Sunday (121-120).

Orangeville kicked off tonight's road game with a 7-0 scoring run. The River Lions weren't going to give up anything easy to the A's however, and a late run pushed the A's deficit to 4 points at the end of the 1st quarter, 31-27.

One of the most impactful players tonight was A's forward Richard Amardi, who was able to follow up his hot shooting performance last Sunday (29 points, 7/10 3PT) with another effective performance tonight. Amardi finished the 1st half of play with 14 points and 6 rebounds, leading all players after the first 24 minutes. Amardi would finish the game with a solid 19 points and 9 rebounds.

After appearing flat during the end of the 2nd quarter, Orangeville would commence the 3rd with an immediate scoring burst. The A's were able to tap the talents of A's forward Justin Moss, who caught fire. Moss would contribute 14 out of his total 25 points during the 3rd quarter alone, proving to be trouble for the Niagara defence.

The A's had difficulty slowing down the River Lions during the final quarter as they allowed Niagara to jump out to a 9-0 run. The 4th would prove to sway in the home team's favour, seeing them outscore Orangeville (35-29) throughout the final quarter.

River Lion's forward Logan Stutz was a major thorn in the A's defence, dropping 14 out of his total 23 points during the 4th quarter. Unfortunately for the A's they were not able to slow down the Niagara offence late in the game and fell, 117-109.

Key Game Notes:

"? The A's moved the ball well tonight, collecting over 27 assists as a squad for only the 4th time this season

"? A's forward Bilal Benn had an effective all around performance falling shy of a triple double by 2 points and 2 boards (8 points, 8 rebounds and 11 assists)
