A's Halted in Windsor for Game 5

WINDSOR, On.- The Brampton A's travelled to Windsor to take on the Express in game five of the Central Division Finals. The game featured alternating leads, until Windsor ran away with the game with a final showing 123-112. Game six is set for this Friday at the Athlete Institute in Orangeville.

A strong performance from three-point range allowed the A's to hold a four point edge heading to the locker room at the half. Brampton also notched a slight advantage in second chance opportunities for the stint.

Marques Oliver led Brampton early on with 10 points, while Flenard Whitfield added nine points.

The A's faced a relentless Express team to begin the second half. Windsor jumped out to a 13 point lead that the A's looking to end the series, could not contest. Brampton made it a point to attack the boards and capitalize off of Express turnovers, but, the home team's momentum prevailed.

Eight A's scored in double-figures, led by Whitfield who concluded the game with 18 points. Cavell Johnson contributed 14 points off of 60 percent shooting from the field.
