February 11, 2014 - NBA G League (G League)
Springfield Armor News Release

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Springfield Armor, presented by MGM Springfield, announced Tuesday that forward Dennis Horner has been deactivated and, in a corresponding move, guard Larry Anderson has been activated.

Horner missed his first action of the season Monday night, sitting out yesterday's game against the Bakersfield Jam. Prior to his absence Monday, Horner had started all 28 games for the Armor, the only player on Springfield's roster to have started in each game of the season before February 10. At the time of his deactivation, the 6-9 forward was averaging 15.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per game.

In a corresponding move, guard Larry Anderson was activated after missing three games following his deactivation on February 7. Before his hiatus, Anderson had reached double figures in 14 consecutive games, raising his per game point average to 13.6 for the season.

Following tonight's game against the Maine Red Claws, the Armor will break for five days while the NBA D-League hosts its All-Star festivities in New Orleans. Springfield will return to action on Monday, February 17 at 6:00 p.m. inside the MassMutual Center to host the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.
