Armor Activate Lorenzo Brown and Adonis Thomas

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Springfield Armor, presented by MGM Springfield, have activated the duo of Lorenzo Brown and Adonis Thomas, the team announced Monday.

Brown rejoins the Armor after being waived by the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday. The North Carolina State product was originally acquired by Springfield on November 1, 2013 in a trade with the Iowa Energy that sent the Armor's 2013 first round pick to Iowa and guard Ben Uzoh to the Tulsa 66ers. Brown was called-up by the Philadelphia 76ers on November 20 and has spent the 2013-14 season bouncing between the Sixers and their NBA Development League affiliate, the Delaware 87ers on assignment. Brown played in 26 games with Philadelphia, averaging 2.5 points, 1.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game. The Roswell, Ga. native also played in 12 games with the Sevens, averaging 19.9 points, 5.3 rebounds and 6.9 assists in the D-League.

Thomas rejoins the Armor after signing two 10-day contracts with the Orlando Magic. The former Memphis Tiger was originally called-up by the Magic on February 25 and played in his first four career NBA games over the course of his two 10-day contracts. Thomas averaged 1.8 points and 0.8 boards with Orlando after becoming the second GATORADE Call-Up of the season for Springfield and ninth in team history.

Brown will wear #14 and Thomas will wear #6.

In a corresponding move, Springfield has deactivated guard Justin Johnson. The University of Concordia-Irvine product has averaged 8.9 minutes of action over his last nine games. Johnson was averaging 9.5 points on the season at the time of his deactivation.

Springfield will kick off its final three-game homestand of the regular season tonight against the Erie BayHawks at 7:00 p.m. inside the MassMutual Center to begin Fan Appreciation Week.
