Arena League annouces Players of week

JACKSONVILLE - The National Arena League announced today that Sharks fullback Derrick Ross earned Offensive Player of the Week for his standout performance in Week 12 against the Dayton Wolfpack.
Ross helped the Sharks to their best standing record in franchise history (10-0) on Saturday night at the Shark Tank. Ross scored the first touchdown on the game and then went on to score three more touchdowns and rushed a total 92 yards for the Sharks.
Ross currently leads the team and the NAL in rushing yards (421) and touchdowns (23). This is Ross' first NAL Weekly honor of the season. In addition to Ross's offensive player of the week award, defensive lineman Logan Ingle from the Columbus Lions earned Defensive Player of the Week, kicker Spencer Hotaling from the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks earned Special Teams Player of the Week to wrap the league's week 12 awards.
This week Derrick Ross and the Sharks will face off against the High Country Grizzlies (3-6) at the Veteran's Memorial Arena on Saturday, June 10 at 7 p.m.
