Ang and Wells Named to NHL Central Scouting Final Rankings

(Peterborough, ON) - With the 2015/16 Petes season complete, several players are looking ahead to the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. Among them are two Peterborough Petes, including centre Jonathan Ang, who ranks 95th among North American skaters, and goaltender Dylan Wells, who ranks tenth among North American goalies.

The domestic rankings list a total of 210 North American skaters including 66 from the OHL, and an additional 30 North American goaltenders including nine that currently compete in the OHL.

Ang was an ironman in 2015/16, playing in every one of Peterborough's 75 regular season and playoff games. He shattered his rookie season point totals with 21 goals, 28 assists, 49 points and 44 penalty minutes, and added 3 goals and 6 assists for 9 points in 7 playoff games.

Wells played in 27 games for the Petes this season, compiling a record of 9-13-1-2. He also competed in the BMO CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game in January and backstopped Team Canada to gold at the 2015 Memorial of Ivan Hlinka U18 Tournament.
