Andy Ashby Added to RailRiders Fan Fest January 28

Moosic, Pa. - The SWB RailRiders (Triple-A/New York Yankees) will host a Fan Fest at PNC Field on Saturday, Jan. 28 from 12 p.m.-3 p.m. A day of autographs, photos and interviews will sport a number of names that tie together professional baseball and NEPA. That list has ballooned this week to include two-time Major League All-Star and former SWB hurler Andy Ashby, who is now part of the RailRiders ownership group.

Tyler Austin, who made his Major League debut in 2016, headlines the Fan Fest roster that also includes RailRider Matt Wotherspoon and former big leaguer/RailRider Russ Canzler. The NEPA flavor continues with local minor leaguers Max Kranick, Joe McCarthy and Kyle McMyne.

The RailRiders will also unveil a new alternative logo as the SWB Baby Bombers with branded hats and t-shirts on presale along with the introduction of the new Baby Bombers Kids Club.

The 2017 Gildan National Championship Game tickets will be on sale for this ONE DAY ONLY prior to single-game tickets going on sale Mar. 18.

"We invite everyone in NEPA to come out and enjoy the fun of RailRiders baseball," said RailRiders president/COO Josh Olerud. "With pitchers and catchers right around the corner, there's no better way to whet our baseball appetites than with autographs from NEPA's own pros, incredibly fun new merchandise and truly special ticket opportunity."

The 2016 Gildan Triple-A National Champion RailRiders open their 2017 home schedule on Monday, April 10 against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs (Philadelphia Phillies).
