San Diego Gulls News Release

SAN DIEGO - The Anaheim Ducks announced today that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has reassigned left wing Nic Kerdiles to the San Diego Gulls, Anaheim's primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Kerdiles, 23 (1/11/94), went scoreless in two games for the Ducks this season following his recall from San Diego on Oct. 13. Kerdiles returns to the Gulls having collecting 1-23 points with a +2 rating and four penalty minutes (PIM) in his 2017-18 season debut on Oct. 7 at Tucson.

Selected in the second round (36th overall), Kerdiles made his NHL debut on Feb. 22, 2017 vs. Boston, becoming the first player from Orange County (born or raised) to play for the Anaheim Ducks. The Irvine, CA native played four games in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, earning his first career NHL assist and two PIM. In four AHL seasons, the 6-2, 200-pound winger has recorded 33-4275 points with 144 PIM in 130 games.
