Anaheim Ducks Announce Roster Move

SAN DIEGO - The Anaheim Ducks announced today that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has recalled left wing Ondrej Kase from the San Diego Gulls, Anaheim's primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Kase, 21 (11/8/95), has earned 5-914 points with 16 penalty minutes (PIM) in 51 games with the Ducks this season. He made his NHL debut on Nov. 2 vs. Pittsburgh and scored his first career NHL goal and game-winning goal on Dec. 1 in Vancouver.

Selected by Anaheim in the seventh round (205th overall) of the 2014 NHL Draft, Kase has recorded 12-1022 points with 10 PIM in 36 career AHL games with San Diego, including 4-48 points and a +9 rating in 11 contests with the Gulls this season. The 6-0, 180-pound forward has also appeared in nine career Calder Cup Playoff games, earning 1-34 points with the Gulls.
